The Spanish club of Ca of Bou, was officially created on the 7th August 1991 with the old  denomination of Club Español del Perro de Presa Mallorquin. The first president was Mr.  Francisco Ruiz Rodriguez, which occupied the function until 19 th November 1992, date  where he was replaced by Mr. Manuel Calviño Breijo, which will remain president until the  beginning of the year 1996. He was replaced like president by Mr. Sergio Gual Fournier,  who occupied the function until spring 2007. Since than the president of the Club is D.  Bartolomé Cañellas Cardona. Currently, the main objectives of the Club are to make known  universally this canine race and to promote the most typical and promising specimens, not  only during the exposures, but also on fairs, contests and all other cultural and social  activities where our indigenous dog can take part. We cannot deny the expansion of our  club apart from our borders with delegations in various countries of the world, mainly in  Europe.
